London & Paris Wrap-Up!

Writer's picture: Taylor ChamplinTaylor Champlin

Hello! Long time no see! Unfortunately, I never got around to finishing up the last few blog posts for London and Paris... I had this post set up and drafted for Day 7 of London before we left for Paris early the next morning... but wow, getting pictures to upload to the blog and organize the posts all from my phone was more difficult than I thought it would be! Once we returned home from our amazing trip I started work right away, I had lots to do being at a new school teaching 8th grade math!

It really was an amazing trip and I would love to go back some day with another group of students. I apologize for disappearing for a bit these last 7 months, but I hope you're all doing great and I hope you're ready for more posts about student travel!

Current Trip!

I have been busy planning more travel opportunities for students... and I am typing this as I'm on a flight to Washington DC! We have a group of 61 travelers going on a tour through Washington DC and New York City... yes, you read that right, SIXTY ONE TRAVELERS! This time I came more prepared to keep up with the blog... I brought my computer. :)

Flashback to London

Here are some quick key points I had made notes on during our last day in London. On our last day in London we rode the bus and tube to Westminster to board a boat for a ride on the Thames River! We toured around London through the Thames River and arrived at Greenwich (pronounced gren-itch). We had some fun shopping around the Greenwich Art Market. We loved supporting the artists there and bought most of our gifts and souvenirs there and at Covent Gardens.

ANTONIO

"We took a ferry ride on the river Thames with a funny bloke all the way to Greenwich. The Greenwich market had the best fish and chips in all of London. We explored the royal observatory and learned about all the British advancements in astronomy. The best part was buying an enormous loaf of sourdough to feed us through three days."

Saying Bye to London & Hello to Paris!

We left our hotel super early on day 8 to head over to Paris, 4:30am! The boys slept through their alarms... so it was a funny/chaotic start to the morning, but we made it to the train station on time. Enjoy the pictures of Paris & the Eiffel Tower. 🇫🇷 We hope to go back one day when it's not so hot! We were definitely there in the middle of a heat wave.

Goodbye Francois!

Francois was an amazing, laid back, knowledgeable Tour Director! We had a great time with him leading us through London & Paris. Thanks for an amazing tour experience Francois!

Stay tuned for more adventures in Washington DC, New York, Costa Rica, Boston, Italy... all in 2023, 2024, and 2025!
